The first four years are very important and crucial for brain development. The Little Star program will help you gain the knowledge and learn the techniques to  developing your child's brain during these formative  years. Every healthy baby is a born genius. Your baby genius is piecing together the world with a brain that is working as brilliantly as the greatest genius that ever walked the earth. Your child has the capacity to think, live and act like a genius.  All you need to do is encourage creativity  and be willing  to experiment and try new things.

Scientists and educators have established that every baby has ‘genius potential’ and the child's education must begin early in order to develop the potential he/she has. Even pregnancy is not too early to start. There is scientific evidence indicating that the developing fetus can learn too. Our own ancient scriptures talk about Abhimanyu, who started learning even when he was in his mother's womb.

Recently Discovery Channel aired a program that showed video of a developing fetus. The doctors and scientists were amazed  to see the frown on the baby’s forehead (still in the womb) when the parents had a heated  argument and the baby’s reaction to soft and loud music.

Hence the moment a child is conceived, it is not too early to start focusing on the child's vast learning potential. In the fetus the brain is developing rapidly. The right hemisphere is highly active while the left hemisphere is relatively dormant. The soul of the child is endowed with Extra-Sensory Perception (ESP), which is carried out through the phenomenal fetal right brain in connection with every single cell of the fetal body,  the cells themselves being ESP receptors.

Newborns come into the world with sophisticated brains that are intricately wired for intellectual growth. During the first year of life, they are more impressionable and are able to develop, than at any other time in life. This cognitive development affects them for the rest of their lives. Thus as parents, you have a tremendous role to play in the development of your child. Furthermore, you also have a responsibility and a sacred obligation to nurture your child with love and train him/her to face the challenges of life. Studies have shown that it is much easier to acquire language skills early in life than at any other time. Very young children  learn language naturally, simply through continuous exposure. Young children can learn two languages from birth just as easily as they can learn one. It is our belief that children can likewise acquire the ability to read  in more than one language  simply through consistent exposure to the written word by the time they are 2 years of age.

How it works

Our brain is an incredibly complex and highly capable piece of equipment  but unfortunately it does not come with a user/ owner's manual. Rarely are we told how it works and how to get the best out of it.

It is not really the number of brain cells you have, it is the number of connections you make between those brain cells that determine how “useful” your brain becomes, i.e. how intelligent you are.

Overall development of brain is essential for generating the best from the child. Our brain has various skills such as language logic , math sequencing , creativity , dimension , imagination etc. Researches show that Logic, Analysis, Sequencing, Linear, Mathematics, Language, Facts, Think in Words, Words of Songs, Computation faculties are predominately controlled by left side of the brain and Creativity, Imagination, Holistic Thinking, Intuition, Arts (Motor skill), Rhythm (Beats), Non-verbal, Feelings, Visualization, Tune of Songs, Daydreaming faculties are predominantly controlled by right part of the brain.

Learning with the left brain requires conscious effort; right-brain learning happens subconsciously, and so effortlessly. In small children, the right brain is already activated  which helps explain how children soak up information like sponges. In small children the right brain is activated because it is dominant. This is because the right hemisphere of the brain develops before the left, remaining dominant until the age of three and a half.

According to right-brain educators, accessing the right brain not only enables a child to learn more efficiently, it can unlock genius-level abilities. It is not that right-brain teaching will give you a genius baby, but rather that there is a genius already inside every baby, if only we can access the abilities of the right brain.

In school curriculum children generally deal with reading, writing, arithmetic which are dominated by left brain. However, there are some special functions of the right brain which were not known until recently :
